Electronic Performance Feedback AKA "ePF" can basically be thought of as an artful integration of three tables of data..
1) Performance_Feedbacks - This is where you add information about your performance for a given academic cycle
2) User_Activities - any academic activity that is not a PubMed tracked activity, ie bedside teaching, academic posters, patents etc
3) Publications - if you can find it on PubMed it goes in this table
Even if ePF did not exist keeping tables 2) and 3) up to date is immensely useful to your department(s) as the date can and is used in the here and now to chronicle your collective achievements as part of a team.
How to prepare your ePF report 2015?
Preparing your ePF is a four or five step process, depending on your preference.
1. open the My ePF template and fill out baseline information
2. add your User Activities; roles and activities in each pillar that can be identified under the available headers.
3. use the Pubmed button to search and import your publications. If added by hand, please use the same template.
4. choose the ePF PDF print button to receive a PDF of your report. If complete, save and send this document to your section head/department head.
5. you have the option to download your Canadian Common CV as an HTML and then upload it into this site. After, you can click and choose ingredients from the CCCV to save these as User Activities. Once saved as user activities, activities would show up in an ePF print.
How do teams fit in ?
A team can be made up of members of an academic department. When the team admins go to compile their annual academic reports the system looks at all the date in tables 2) and 3) and compiles an academic report in one click.
Whats in it for you ?
